My AC isn't working. What should I do?

Should I set my fan to 'Auto' or 'On'?
We recommend setting your fan to 'Auto'. The 'On' setting continually runs air through the house, which can be inefficient and consume more power. 'Auto' only runs the fan when the AC is producing cold air, saving energy and reducing your utility bills.
What if there's ice on my AC?
If you notice ice on your AC, turn the unit off immediately and let it defrost. Common causes include insufficient ductwork, dirty filters, a broken blower motor, or leaking refrigerant. Once defrosted, call GAP Mechanical to diagnose and repair the issue.
